A 20-year,800 petajoule gas sales agreement that was to underpin development of the Woodside Petroleum Ltd operated Blacktip gas field has been torn up by the buyer,Alcan Gove,following Woodside's decision to ask for more money.The move has destabilised the 500 million Trans-Territory Pipeline(TTP)and plans by France-based Alcan to use the gas to power a 1.5 billion expansion of its Gove alumina refinery.
