StatoilHydro strikes oil, gas at Nona prospect in Norwegian Sea

An oil and gas discovery has been made by StatoilHydro in the Nona prospect, roughly six miles south east of the Asgard field in the Norwegian Sea. The company is estimating reserves of between 13 and 31 million barrels of oil and 1 to 2 billion standard cubic meters of gas based on preliminary calculations.
