摘要

The conformational behavior of different natural and synthetic polyelectrolytes in aqueous solutions was studied by conductometry. Experimental data were processed using Manning's polyelectrolyte theory, which relates the conductivity of solutions to the mean distance b between charges in the chain of a polyion. The b values obtained were used to estimate the conformational changes in polyions in solutions.
