Mechanism of the detonation of TNT-RDX mixtures as studied by the isotope tracer method

Data obtained using the isotope tracer method are explained by the occurrence of a sequence of rearrangements of chemical bonds with the formation of methane and free carbon in the early stages of chemical transformations and by the interdependent decomposition of TNT and RDX during detonation.
