摘要

New legal solutions related to the mining industry, contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 28 June 2002, permit performing assessment of the climatic conditions in mines using self-propelled machines by two methods, including that based on equivalent temperature of a climate. The aim of this paper is to indicate differences between both methods and to point out some inconsistencies resulting from the fact that the new regulations are related to the Polish Standard PN-G-03100: 1997. Comparative analysis of the results of climatic working condition assessment, obtained by the methods allowed by the new regulation, was made based on diagrams prepared in a coordinates system: dry temperature-wet temperature, showing regions of climatic conditions in which full-time 8-hour work is permitted.
