Production of natural rubber in Malaysia in June was recorded at 84,208 tons, up 12,551 tons, or 17.5 percent, from the previous month, according to the Malaysian Statistical Office. Year-on-year comparison also shows an increase of 19.0 percent. The largest contributor of total NR production was from the smallholding sector at 94.6 percent, and the balance from the estate sector at 5.4 percent.
