Present state of a management of waste slags from non-ferrous metallurgical processes and possibilities of economic utilization of the slags currently stored at dumps have been presented. Results of the studies performed at the Centre for Studies on Bridges, Concrete and Aggregates of the Roads and Bridges Research Institute in Zmigrod, particularly in reference to metallurgical slag stored at the WH/68 dump administered by Orzel Bialy S.A., have been discussed.
