In the process of digging for material for this column,I have discovered a wealth of information on the web from various suppliers and manufacturers in the rubber industry.I felt that sharing some of this with you would be of interest,and plan to publish a semi-regular column in future issues of Rubber World.Since the emphasis for this month's issue is silicone rubber,I will start with some historical information on silicones.
