The Budget for the year 2006-2007 was a big let down as far as the general industry is concerned arid rubber industry in particular.The Finance Minister has completely ignored the emerging rubber industry's demand.It is clear that the Finance Minister has taken up populist path with an.eye on the vote banks.We expected him to rise above such parochial approach to speed up the wheels of growth on the back of the rubber industry.
