SEVERSTALTRANS TO RAISE 350-MILLION DOLLARS LOAN TO BUY MORDASHOV STAKE

(Interfax) - Russian transport holding company Severstaltrans plans to receive a five-year credit from Sberbank of Russia of 350 million dollars to partially finance the acquisition of the 50 percent stake in the transport company belonging to Severstal chief Alexei Mordashov, according to information from a Eurobond memorandum. The credit will be guaranteed by Leverret Holdings Ltd. This company, which represents the interests of Severstaltrans management, owns 50 percent of Transportation Investments Holding Ltd. (Cyprus), which is 100 percent owned by Severstaltrans. The other 50 percent of Transportation Investments Holding is currently owned by Rosea Invest Ltd., controlled by Mordashov.
