Kuzbass Fuel Co doubles Q1 profit

Kuzbass Fuel Company boosted net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 110% year-on-year in Ql 2011 to 593 million rubles, the coal producer said in a press release. Sales revenue rose 70% to 5.45 billion rubles. Gross profit was up 78% to 1.11 billion rubles, and earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) jumped 50% to 948 million rubles.
