ENRC TO INCREASE FINANCING FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS BY 28 percent IN 2009

Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC) announces plans to finance the social development projects in Karaganda oblast worth over 806 million tenge. ENRC said in a statement on Thursday that the funding would be directed to maintain Zhairem and Shubrakol village infrastructure, housing construction and also assistance to medical, educational and sports organization. The memorandum with the regional authorities also entails paying international universities tuitions for ten students.
