GV GOLD BOOSTS IFRS NET PROFIT 42 PERCENT IN 2007, DOUBLES RAS PROFIT

Vysochaishy (GV Gold), a gold producer based in Russia's Irkutsk region, increased net profit under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by 42 percent to 530.403 million rubles in 2007 from 372.658 million rubles in 2006, the company said in a statement. Sales revenue grew 31.22 percent to 1.849 billion rubles in 2007.
