摘要

This paper presents a distributed algorithm, based on point-to-point communication, to deal with future challenges in networks (such as dynamic changes in consumption and production). Based on message exchanges, the algorithm distributes loads such that the relative load of nodes is approximately equal. The algorithm and the number of exchanged message scale linearly with the number of nodes. However, the distributed information exchange makes the network less vulnerable to directed attacks and eliminates single points-of-failure. Local failures are handled adequately.
