摘要

In this paper, the results of numerical modelling of complex process of the cross-wedge rolling (CWR) of screw spike are presented. The commercial software DEFORM-3D basing on the finite element method was used in calculations. In the results of calculations, the progression of part shape during rolling, strain, damage criterion and temperature distributions and diagrams of forces influencing the wedge tool were presented. It was shown that actually is possible modelling on personal computers CWR processes with considering complex shape of tools and thermal phenomena present during forming.
