摘要

A mathematical model of the process of reducing nickel monoxide with the addition of coke to a rotating tube-type furnace is proposed. The model incorporates differential equations that describe variations in the content of nickel monoxide and carbon in the solid material, the concentration of the reducing reagents and oxygen in the gas phase, and the temperature throughout the length of the furnace. It is shown that the model, which is implemented on computer, provides an adequate description of the physical processes with acceptable precision.
