Effect of Imidazolium Salts on the Catalytic Reaction of 1,3-Dioxolanes with Methyl Diazoacetate

Effect of imidazolium salts, [bmim]~+Cl~-, [bmin]~+BF_4~-, and [bmim]~+PF_6~-, on the reaction of 1,3-dioxolanes with methyl diazoacetate in the presence of copper-containing catalysts was studied. The product composition was found to depend on the reaction conditions and the nature and ratio of components of the catalytic system.
