摘要

Significant reserves of the polymetallic tungsten-containing ores are centered in the Zabaikal region. The traditional methods for processing the concentrates that are obtained from this raw material (by sintering or smelting with soda with subsequent leaching with water, and also by autoclave/soda leaching) are quite energy/intensive and are not always suitable.The goal of the present work was to improve the technology for obtaining the pure tungsten compounds with the use of the highly effective sorption processes, and the use of low-energy alkaline leaching in decomposing the tungstates.The content of the principle components in the utilized tungstate concentrate sample was, percent: 48.0W; 9.36 Mn; 5.46 Fe; 0.016 Mo; 0.008 Pb; 0.023 Bi; 0.50 As; 0.001 Sc; 0.01 U; 0.004 Th; 0.2 Nb; 0.56 Ta.
