摘要

An urgent problem at the present time in the machine-building industry is the development of materials for the application of antifriction coatings with excellent tribotechnical properties, satisfying the operating conditions and eliminating the causes of bearing wear. In the course of operation the working surfaces of the bearing liners are subject to corrosion/mechanical and cavitation wear and wear by friction. Any one of these forms of wear may dominate, depending on the bearing operating conditions. To ensure reliable bearing operation, high fatigue strength, and resistance to erosion and cavitation, it is necessary to obtain antifriction layers of thickness to 1.5 mm that can withstand high specific loads with cyclic loadings to 80 MPa.
