THE ROLE OF S. I. POL'KIN IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORY AND APPLICATION OF PROCESSING OF ORES RARE METALS

The key points in the scientific activity and basic conceptions formulated by S. I. Pol'kin in the area of the processing of rare-metal ore and the theory of the flotation process are described. The development of these arguments under modern conditions is demonstrated and new lines of research based on the fundamental results obtained by S. I. Pol'kin are developed.
