摘要

The effect of metrological, engineering, and structural factors on the results of testing via the mirror-shadow method is considered. Quantitative estimates of the effect of instability of the acoustic contact, the grain size, and the operating frequency of a transducer are presented. Comparative data on the signal attenuation due to damping and divergence are presented. Conclusions and recommendations on the use of the obtained regularities during development of the techniques for the mirror-shadow testing method are given.
