摘要

Complexes [SnCl3(HBs)] (I) and [SnCl3(Is(2)H)] center dot nSolv (n = 2, Solv = CH3CN (II); n = 0 (III); n = 2, Solv = DMF (IV)) with the molar ratio Sn : ligand = 1 : 1 are prepared by reacting SnCl4 with salicylic aldehyde benzoyl or isonicotinoyl hydrazone (H(2)Bs or H(2)Is). IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy proves that the ligands in I-IV are coordinated in a tridentate-cyclic mode through the azomethine nitrogen atom and the oxygen atoms of the oxy group (in I-IV) and the carbonyl (I) or oxyazine group (II-IV), so that the ligands in II-IV are in the N-(py) protonated form. The thermal decomposition of complexes is found to be accompanied with the elimination of chlorine- and tin-containing species into vapor phase. The molecular and crystal structures of complexes I and II are determined by X-ray crystallography.
