Erbium and Ytterbium Complexes with the Phtalocyanines with Aryloxy and Chlorine Substituents

By nucleophilic substitution of chlorine atoms in tetrachlorophthalonitrile by phenoxy- or 1-naphthyloxy groups aryloxychlorophthalonitriles were synthesized and on this basis respective substituted erbium and ytterbium phthalocyanines with chloro- , acetate- or acetylacetonate anions as extra ligands. The compounds obtained were characterized by elemental analysis, chromato-mass spectrometry, IR, ~(13)C NMR, and electronic spectroscopy.
