As shown earlier, reactions of dialkylphosphorous acids with dimethylhydrazines proceed equivocally [1]. In order to reveal the regularities of these reactions it was of interest to explore the reaction of phosphorous acids with the previously unknown salicylaldehyde dimethylhydrazone I.
