Synthesis and Studies of Homopolycyanurates Based on 2-Carbazol-4,6-Dichloro-s-Triazine

Eight homopolycyanurates have been synthesized by interfacial polycondensation of 2-carbazol-4,6-dichloro-s-triazine with 1,7-dihydroxynaphthalene, 1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone, ethylene glycol, di-ethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, 1,2-propanediol, 1,4-butanediol and 1,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone. All the homopolycyanurates synthesized were characterized for their solubility, density, viscosity, IR, NMR spectral and thermogravimetric parameters.
