The New Data on the Reactions of Carboxylic Acids and Salts in the Complex Mixtures

Functioning of carboxylic acids in solutions in the forms of carboxy and ortho-structures determines features of some reactions.The process direction can be sufficiently changed depending on the concentration of aqueous solution.Thus,reaction of carboxylic acids with alkali of concentration 5 mol 1~(-1)and higher is complicated by nucleophilic addition at the carboxylic carbon whose electron density is low[1-2].
