摘要

Celox probes with a programmable secondary device are gaining wide acceptance for the express control of the degree of steel oxidation and the aluminum content during steelmaking. As a result of studies performed at the ladle-furnace unit of OAO NTMK, we designed a method to optimize the deoxidation and alloying of a low-carbon steel by aluminum and to predict its content in the finished metal using the data obtained by Celox probes. To this end, we found a relation between the results of traditional and express analyses.
