Previously we showed that 2-R-l,3,2-benzodioxa-phosphinin-4-ones highly regio-and stereoselectively react with ethyl and bis(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl) esters of arylidenemalonic acids in mild conditions to form 1,2-benzoxaphosphepines .
