Carbon Oxidation Blast

摘要

Carbon oxidation in the reaction of metal with various gaseous oxidants is considered. It is shown that the oxidation of carbon may be a one- or two-stage process, depending on the Pomerantsev number. The possibility of carbon oxidation by iron-oxide vapor is analyzed.
