To mark the 150th anniversary of the Society,the Victorian Chapter prepared a book of photographs by its members,which was presented to the RPS in Bath on 1 April.Here,Elaine Herbert ARPS,Victorian Chapter Hon Secretary,explains how the idea for the book evolved Back in 2002,members of the RPS Victorian Chapter were casting around for ideas to mark the 150th anniversary in 2003 of the Society's founding.What could we do? Organise a commemorative lecture by an eminent photographer? Arrange a sesquicentenary dinner?
