We demonstrate the application of a method that has been developed by the author for calculating the trajectory of the curvilinear fibers and the macrograins in extruding hollow cylindrical articles. The high accuracy of the analytic results is confirmed by comparison with the experimental data. A general method for predicting the macrostructure of the articles that are obtained by plastic deformation was described in [1]. On the basis of this method there were derived the specific formulas for calculating the structure of the cylindrical cups that are obtained by free extrusion. We shall present some further examples of performing the practical calculations with the use of the obtained relations.
