South Asia to be second fastest-growing region: WB

South Asia is poised to become the second-fastest growing region after East Asia & the Pacific, says the latest World Bank update. The region as a whole is expected to grow by about 7% in 2010 and nearly 8% in 2011. South Asia's particular strengths and forms of global integration were a key factors behind its resilience following the financial crisis of 2008, it says.
