Vacuum injection in the processing of glass fiber reinforced plastics. [German]

The vacuum injection process is used for the production of parts from glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) which are smooth on both sides with a high degree of reproducibility. In one newly developed unit the usual monitoring of the process of charging resin by the operator is eliminated. Simple handling; parts free from air bubbles and small amounts of residual resin are additional advantages of the new system. [References: None]
