Trelleborg to open R&D centre in China

Trelleborg Automotive said it will set up a research and development centre in Shanghai to offer noise and vibration damping and brake solutions for light ve-hicles. The R&D centre will include equipment for controlled testing of brake and engine noise. Using on-site test chambers, Trelleborg will be able to simulate the brake noise experienced in driving conditions anywhere across the globe, at temperatures ranging from -30° C to 45° C.
