Post-war Sri Lanka today is fast emerging as an international industrial, commercial and tourism destination thanks to the concerted initiatives being taken by the Government hand-in-hand with the private sector to uplift the nation's economy. Massive infrastructure projects like airports, seaports, highways etc under way, imposing buildings, bustling commercial centres, large turnout of tourists etc. that catch the visitor's eye are telltale signs of a country on the path of economic recovery and boom.
