ATMA calls for steps to save domestic industry

Indian tyre manufacturers have called for imposition of anti-dumping duty and hiking of Customs duty on cheap bus and truck ra-dials from China to save the domestic tyre industry. In a pre-Budget presentation, the domestic industry has also demanded strict adherence to the Bureau of Indian Standards mark on tyre products, especially those made by the Chinese companies.
