ACDC 2011 boosts agri-commodities derivatives markets

The Asia Commodities & Derivatives Conference 2011 (ACDC 2011) held in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 23, 2011, provided an ideal platform for the Indonesian agricultural commodity community to meet and discuss various cross-border trading issues and strategies offered by the Commodity Derivatives exchanges in Asia. This inaugural Asian Commodities & Derivatives Conference, themed Profit Driven Strategies for Agricultural Commodity Trading and Investing, was organised by Confexhub, and hosted by the Indonesia Rubber Research Institute with Indonesia Commodities & Derivatives Exchange as the lead partner. Megain Widjaja, Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange presented the inaugural address and launched the event and the accompanying exhibition.
