D Hedge to lead UPASI

The Annual General Meeting of United Planters Association of Southern India (UPASI) held on October 23, 2011, elected D. Hegde as President and G.J. Ancheril as Vice President of the Association for the year 2011-12. A tea planter with 35 years of experience, Hegde is a Director of the United Nilgiri Tea Estates Co. Ltd (Chamraj Group).
