Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of some acridone derivatives bearing 1,3,4-thiadiazole and 1,2,4-triazole moieties

Novel derivatives of acridone bearing 1,3,4-thiadiazole and 1,2,4-triazole moieties were synthesized by intramolecular cyclization of acridone acetic acid derivatives, i.e., N (1)-acyl N (4)-substituted thiosemicarbazides. Some of the synthesized compounds (compounds 4b, 4c, 5a) possess antimicrobial activity.
