U.S., Canadian tire shipments dip slightly in January

U.S. tire shipments started the new year falling 3.2 percent from January 2002 figures, according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association. Canadian shipments also declined about 0.7 percent, the Rubber Association of Canada reported.
