RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.— Chinese tire manufacturer Giti Tire Pte. Ltd. said it will establish technical centers in the U.S. and Germany in the coming months to enhance its research and development capabilities. Singapore-based Giti said Hamid Aboutorabi will direct a center in Akron and Stefan Fischer a site in Hanover, Germany. Giti didn't reveal the cost of the projects or specific timetables.
