The Australasian industry is made up of primarily compounded colour and in the tank market particularly, focusing on a common range of colours to match modern metal roofing. During the conference in Penang in May this year, ARMA began discussing a new project to streamline the various colours within the industry across all the suppliers. The project was first suggested due to the very different range of colours that each supplier uses under the one colour name (e.g. Beige). The eventual aim of the new project will be to establish a pantone based guide for each of the colour bond colours (others may be added later).
