7th International Association of Biological Standardization (IABS) Symposium on Advances in Transfusion Safety

The 7th International Association of Biological Standardization (IABS) Symposium on Advances in Transfusion Safety was organised in Singapore by the Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and the IABS from 15th to 17th July 2011. The symposium was organised in partnership with the Asia Pacific Blood Network, the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research, and the International Society of Blood Transfusion. Participating organisations included the International Plasma Fractionation Association, Network for Advancement of Transfusion Alternatives, and International Society for Cellular Therapy. The wide involvement of organisations in this event highlighted the many components that contribute to transfusion safety efforts today.
