Now, where were we? Ah, yes! Having made the cross-country journey in our long-term 2008 Audi R8, we are at the halfway mark of our 6-racetrack, 9000-mile, dream drive here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The keys have switched hands for the second time, with Feature Editor Mike Monticello now at the wheel and Editors-At-Large Peter Egan and Joe Rusz to follow. The potential perils of all this track time and miles of unfamiliar roads have failed to stop the R8 so far - wish we could say the same about the highway patrol.
