The Patagonia mining district is perhaps best known for the many large (to 12 inches in length) Japan-law twinned, clear quartz crystals from the Holland mine, as well as fine examples of pink Mn-rich calcite rhombs, also from the Holland mine; fine large pyrite cubes; black sphalerite; and pseudomorphs of limonite and hisingerite after pyrite cubes.
