摘要

Although many engineers may leave gripper selection to the supplier, a number of variables need to be considered in choosing the right gripper for an application. Factors that come into play include size, shape and weight of the part to be gripped, as well as repeatability requirements and type of stroke needed in the application. Designing the right gripper fingers is also crucial for efficient handling of parts in robotic applications.
