Energy transfer in crystalline alkali nitrates

摘要

The radiation annealing of peroxynitrite ions in pre-photolyzed (253.7 nm) alkali nitrate crystals has been studied.This process is stated to be due to interaction with high-energy excited states of the nitrate ion symmetry E than to low-energy excited states symmetry A1".The distance of energy transfer has been found to be ~10nm.
