Cross sections for (n 2n), (n, p), and (n a) reactions have been measured on gadolinium isotopes at the neutron energies from 13.5 to 14.8 MeV using the activation technique in combination with high-resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy. Neutrons were produced via the H-3(d, n)He+ reaction using solid TiT. The neutron fluences were determined using the monitor reactions Nb-93(n, 2n)Nb-92m and Al-27 (n, alpha)Na-24. The neutron energy in this measurement was determined by cross section ratios for the Zr-90(n, 2n)Zr89m+g and Nb-93(n, 2n)Nb-92m reactions. Data are reported for the following reactions: Gd-152(n,2n)(151)Gcl, Gd-154(n, 2n)Gd-153, 2n)Gd-159, Gd-156(n, p)Eu-156, Gd-157(n, p)Eu-157, (158)Gcl(n, p)Eu-158, and Gd-158(n,alpha)Sm-155. The cross sections are discussed and compared with the experimental data found in the literature.
