Recently approximately 220 scientists gathered at the International Gap Junction Conference 2009. The conference took place at the Sedona Hilton Resort in Arizona's high desert with a backdrop of massive red-rock formations and contrasting riparian areas. The area was enjoyed by the participants during Monday and Tuesday morning breaks when the meeting did not convene until 1:30 PM.
