Recently, there has been great interest in the use of enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) (Spectralis; Heidelberg Engineering, Heidelberg, Germany) to measure and analyze choroidal tumors.1'2 Although EDI-OCT has improved our ability to evaluate choroidal thickness,3'4 it also raises new questions about the methods previously used to measure the thickness of small choroidal melanocytic tumors. Herein, we compare two new imaging methods, EDI-OCT and swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT), with the traditional technique, ultrasonogra-phy. We focus in particular on the interpretation of measurements of small choroidal melanocytic tumors.
